Colombia Supremo Medellin 17/18

A balanced, smooth, and aromatic Colombian coffee with notes of green apple, chocolate, and vanilla.

This bean, hailing from Colombia's Medellín region, is grown at an altitude of 1400 meters and processed using the washed method. Thanks to the washed process, it offers a cleaner, more balanced, and distinct aroma profile in the cup, while highlighting the bean's natural sweetness and fruity character.

The vibrant and slightly refreshing notes of green apple combine with the smooth and familiar character of chocolate. Vanilla, on the other hand, gives the cup a rounder, sweeter, and more balanced finish. This trio ensures that Colombia Supremo Medellín offers an easily noticeable balance, neither too sharp nor too heavy.

Beans grown at an altitude of 1400 meters contribute to the development of the coffee's aromatic structure, creating a balanced cup with a medium body and moderate acidity. It delivers harmonious results in both filter and espresso brewing; green apple and vanilla notes are more pronounced in filter brews, while chocolate character is more discernible in espresso.

At Federal Coffee, instead of keeping our coffees in large stocks for extended periods, we prepare them with a weekly roasting schedule. This way, we aim to deliver Colombia Supremo Medellín to you while preserving its aromatic character and freshness as much as possible.

Green apple, chocolate, and vanilla. A balanced, smooth, and aromatic cup.
