Originating from the Chiapas region of Mexico, this coffee is prepared to preserve the natural aromatic structure of the bean as much as possible, even after decaffeination. Its balanced structure and smooth taste offer a lower-caffeine alternative for those who don't want to give up their coffee pleasure at any time of the day.

At Federal Decaf, the decaffeination process is carried out using the Swiss Water Process / water-based method. This method does not use chemical solvents. Green coffee beans are exposed to water; caffeine and the soluble components of the coffee pass into the water in a controlled manner. Then, the caffeine is separated from the water using special carbon filters. The water, balanced in terms of aromatic components, is reunited with the beans to ensure that caffeine is removed from the beans while aiming to preserve the coffee's character as much as possible.

Therefore, Federal Decaf offers a clean, balanced, and smooth cup, far from the flat or weak profile sometimes encountered in classic decaffeinated coffees.

While it provides a more comfortable and clean drink in filter brews, a more intense and rounded character can be achieved on the espresso side. It is an ideal choice for those who do not want to give up their evening coffee or who want to reduce their daily caffeine intake.
