In the history-filled streets of Adana, in one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods—Büyüksaat—Federal Coffee’s third branch opened its doors in 2023: Tuzhan Büyüksaat Federal.

But this is no ordinary branch; it’s a unique space that blends the traces of the past with today’s lifestyle. Tuzhan, built as part of the Ramazanoğlu Foundation Palace—one of Adana’s oldest mansions with a 530-year history—once served as the harem quarters of the palace.

For centuries, the area was known as the “Salt Market,” associated with the trade of salt. In 2007, a comprehensive restoration removed the shanties, uncovered the historical foundations, and brought this extraordinary site back to life under the name “Tuzhan.”

Today, within these stone walls and corridors—where over 40,000 books reside, art adorns the walls, and the aroma of coffee fills the air—Federal Coffee welcomes its guests. Inspired by the aesthetics of Ottoman palace inns, the interior design of Tuzhan Federal positions it not just as a café, but as a "shop of ideas, culture, and art."

Offering a coffee experience intertwined with history, this branch is more than a café—it’s a cultural landmark. Every detail pays homage to the past while breathing new life into Adana’s social scene. Since 2023, Federal Coffee’s third Adana branch has been serving in the heart of Büyüksaat, uniting past and present in every cup.
